Think I have free will? Think again, It’s time to take the red pill.

Think I’m making decisions with my brain but I’m just being controlled by the chain

Chain of command… run by the man,

Thinking of quitting… he makes sure that you can’t.

Everyone Snapchats like they’re the greatest creation, but maybe it’s time to wake up the nation

And let everyone know of my revelation so I’m standing here putting on a demonstration

Time to look at my phone and have a confrontation and stop giving myself the justification, allowing myself to fall into their manipulation.

I know when I use it the feeling’s amazing, but it’s time to put it down and do a little more gazing,

Gazing at the world… what has it become, can we really be free if we don’t know freedom?

It’s time to show everyone just how it feels to just get away and look at what’s real.

When you first put it down you might find yourself pacing or even realize that your heart is racing.

I think it’s time to ask the question could this be a harmful ingestion,

It’s not a simple suggestion, might cause a little congestion

Of the brain… chained to my phone

Can’t get my eyes of the screen

Don’t think what I’m seeing really needs to be seen.

This is a harmful cycle, one that’s hard to break

Really has me wondering can we reverse this big mistake?

So now it’s time to awake

It’s time for us to take control.

All this tech takes a toll

Didn’t read Terms of Service, have I just sold my soul?

Don’t just sit back and scroll

Take a second to peek down the rabbit hole.

Tik Tok, Tik Tok, scrolling through time, now I can see what they’re doing is a crime

So what can we do? Is it just too late?

Is it just our fate to keep on living in a dysfunctional state?

This might chill you to the bone, but it’s not set in stone.

So just put down the phone spend some time alone

Look into the unknown and show the world how we’ve grown.
