Everything is about to change: Episode 5

Last night, The Bachelorette was back on its regular show time, and I could not be more excited. It was Tayshia Adams’s first night as the Bachelorette. She had her fears of being the guys second choice, but for most that was not the case. All of their jaws dropped as she entered the room, and the guys fought for time with her.

That is not all, Chris Harrison told her that, “Everything was about to change”, which left everyone hanging on the edge of their seats.

Four new men were added to the show to fight for Tayshia’s love. The new men were Spencer Roberston from San Diego, Montel Hill from Boston, Noah Erb from Oklahoma, and Peter Giannikopoulos from Everett, Massachusetts.

They had no issue stirring up the drama, when Spencer grabbed Tayshia to talk to her first, and got the first impression rose. This action angered a lot of the men.

Next in the episode was the first group date, which was pool basketball. The team that won was able to spend extra time with Tayshia. In my opinion the game got very intense. The men got aggressive, to a point where Riley elbowed Spencer in the face, and blood was everywhere. In the end, the blue team won.

When everyone was back together, you could feel the tension stirring in the room. Spencer put everyone on the spot, asking what their issue was. Riley brought up how he came off like a “douche” and he does not have the best intentions.

Could this be true? I feel like the men are just jealous that he caught Tayshia’s eye so quickly and got the first impression rose. At the end of the night, Tayshia was very straight up with the men and told everyone which men stood out and gave Eazy the rose.

After the group date, we sadly found out that Jason still had feelings for Clare that were hard to get over. So he decided to leave the show. Which is very sad because Clare pushed him to be vulnerable then basically left him hanging.

The last part of the episode was Tayshias’s first one on one date with Brendan. They strolled on horses throughout the gorgeous resort, and Chris Harrison made his presence known when he drove his scooter to each stop to give them something, like the margaritas. At the end of the night, they kissed and found out they have a lot of things in common. Brendan received the rose and they enjoyed the firework show together.

In the end, I feel like a lot of the guys are getting the screen time and the chances that they deserve. Keep watching The Bachelorette on ABC, Tuesdays at 8, if you want to find out if Tayshia finds her happily ever after!
