WESTFIELD MA- A group of Westfield State University students are performing a PR campaign for their class which supports local Springfield based charity The Gray House.
The Gray House is a charity based in the north-end of Springfield who work with a number of different areas such as adult education and food assistance but the area that these students are looking at is their kids program.
Their Advanced PR class gives them the opportunity to work with a local non-profit whilst also getting hands-on experience working in the industry.
Their campaign is titled “Once Upon A Childhood” and it is based around the theme of childhood nostalgia featuring a number of iconic childhood games in their theme such as hopscotch and plinko.
They offer a number of prizes such as a bluetooth speaker, a beach towel, a lego set and a number of Westfield State merchandise items.
So how can you or I get involved?
Events at the Westfield State dining commons and the Holyoke mall by Target on the 23rd and 25th of April respectively where you can take place in cornhole or plinko in order to get raffle tickets to win exciting prices or you could donate directly to their Instagram or Facebook account @onceuponagrayhouse
